Inquiry Share

This afternoon we shared our amazing learning with each other, other classes, Mr Callaghan and our families.

We have had so much fun and excitement this term learning about Space and our students have totally immersed themselves in their learning.

Take a look at some of the presentations, these inspire us as teachers.

Connor and Jai recreated the ISS

AJ created a rocket to scale, 1:100

Jack recreated Saturn V as well as making a movie

Sam created a stunning project

Danica and Smilla used their papier mache skills

Maddy and Felicity's solar system

Maddox and Louis with their ISS

Ella's core of Europa even lights up!

Aaron and Brodey found out all about space food

Arthur wrote his own book!

Arya and Maya created this diorama about Kepler 90

Kuhu's solar system

  1. I was sad that I could not be there today. I hope that everyone enjoyed sharing their projects.

  2. Between indestructible carnivorous tardigrades, black holes playing with space-time [not very nicely I might add], being bombarded with asteroids, suns that are 18 million bigger than ours and hotter than anything we can imagine, freezing ammonia filled planets, gravity that would squash us like bug to a windshield……

It is amazing we are here, and further, that we have built these incredible machines to explore space with us on board (even if we do have to eat freeze dried food and drink our own pee). Go us, and let’s look after our planet as good ones are hard to find.

Great presentations by everyone this afternoon – awesome work.
