They each started with a selection of goods. They had to work as a group to decide what the essential items they need to survive are.
By the end of their bartering all groups needed to have
- Food to feed their group
- Shelter from the weather
- Essential items required for living
We were impressed with the students ability to negotiate and recognise the value of fair trades.
Bartering was a great way to learn how to survive without money. You could also barter goods for services.
