Maths Quiz!

    3/4 + 3/4 = 1 2/4 (1 1/2)
    1 1/2 + 1 1/2 = 3

  3. three quarters plus three quarters = one and a half times 2 which
    equals 3, plus 3/4 = three and three quarters so its true.

  4. another saying it is 3/4 of 5 and a half is 2 1/2 and half of that is 3/4 add=3 3/4

    another way is convert it into decimals so that it is 0.75 x5 = 3 3/4
    0.75
    1.50
    2.25
    3
    3.75=3 3/4

  5. thinking in decimals might make it easier
    3/4 is the same as 0.75 and then skip count
    0.75
    1.5
    2.25
    3
    3.75 is the same as 3 3/4.

    Or
    5x 0.75(3/4) =3.75
